  1. Introduction

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before selling your device to Gizmo2Go on our website. By submitting an order, you agree to and are bound by these terms.

  1. About Gizmo2Go
    We are Discover Group Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company registration number 09961059. Our registered office is 18 Apollo, Lichfield Road Industrial Estate, Tamworth, United Kingdom, B79 7TA.
  2. Consumers

Placing an order through our website confirms that:

– You are a UK resident accessing our website from within the UK
– You are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a binding contract
– If under 18 years old, you have obtained your guardian’s consent

  1. Businesses
    Placing an order through our website confirms that:- You are authorised to act on behalf of the registered business
    – You are legally capable of entering a binding contract on the company’s behalf
  2. Device Condition
    We grade and price the condition of devices that we will purchase from you into 3 categories – ‘Good’, ‘Poor’ and ‘Faulty’.

Above this is the pre-condition that your device is:

– Original
– UK specification
– Not jailbroken
– Not PIN locked
– Not iCloud/Google locked
– Include battery
– Not missing parts
– Fully powers on
– Have an identifiable IMEI
– Not crushed, bent or in pieces
– Flagged as lost or stolen
– Not water damaged
– Not FaceID damaged (iPhone X range and newer)
– Not TouchID finger print home button damaged (iPhone 8/SE 2020 ranges)

Good
A ‘Good’ device would be:
– Fully functional
– Have minimal wear and tear (no cracks, chips, dents or deep scratches)
– No pixel damage or discolouration
– Battery levels 85% or greater
– No water damage

Poor
A ‘Poor’ device would be:
– Fully functional
– No major damage (heavier wear and tear such as deep scratches, marks and small cracks – no shattered glass)
– No major screen defects (small pixel damage, light discolouration)
– Battery levels 70-84%
– No water damage

Faulty
A ‘Faulty’ device would have one of the following:
– Major software/hardware issues
– Shattered screen
– Faulty camera
– Faulty touchscreen
– Poor battery health
– Faulty charging port
– Faulty Wi-Fi
– Faulty NFC
– Screen defects (such as screen burn or heavy discolouration)
– Faulty Operating System

Gizmo2Go will return free of charge any devices not meeting the criteria above.

  1. Pricing
    The prices displayed on our website are inclusive of VAT and any other tax which are subject to change at any time, without notice.Prices quoted are guaranteed for 14 days from the point of confirming your order by completing our website checkout process, subject to the device satisfying our terms and conditions.The value of your device will be revised if received after the 14 days period and if the device does not satisfy our terms and conditions.Your device may be iCloud/Google Locked, in which case we will contact you to assist in unlocking it. If the device cannot be unlocked, it has no value and you will not receive a monetary sum and the device will be recycled.Revised Prices
    Should your device not meet the minimum quality requirements as stated above, we will contact you to make a revised offer which is valid for 5 days.If we do not receive a response to our revised offer within 5 days, we will automatically process the purchase of your device at the revised price, with payment sent to the bank details you provided.We will return, free of charge any rejected offers.
  2. Data Risks
    By sending your device to us, you agree to release us from all and any claims, losses or damages in relation to the device and data contained on the device or storage cards. We accept no responsibility if your data is not removed prior to sending your device to us.If your device is not functional, your data may be accessible to third parties to whom we may sell the device for spare parts. However, it is expected that our third parties would delete any data in the unlikely event that it later becomes accessible.
  3. Sim Card Removal
    You are responsible for ensuring sim cards are removed from the device you send to us and are non-returnable.We are not responsible for any call costs arising before or after receipt of your device and recommend cancelling any contracts linked to that device when no longer required.
  4. Lost or Stolen Devices
    The sale of a stolen or lost device may amount to a criminal offence.Should a device be flagged on our database, we will notify you and quarantine the device for 28 days, withholding all payments due until our database reports the device as not flagged.If you can prove you are the rightful owner it must be cleared within the quarantine period for payment to be made.If you cannot prove rightful ownership by the end of the quarantine period, we will notify law enforcement and provide them with all correspondence and device(s) for the purpose of investigating and preventing crime. No payments will be made to you.If you receive payment for a phone which we later become aware of ownership issues you agree to immediately reimburse us in full within 3 working days upon written request.You agree to fully cooperate with us and may be contacted by law enforcement.
  5. Postage
    Upon confirmation of your order with us, we will provide a link to the Royal Mail website to print a free, tracked postage label which can be sent via any Post Office. This service covers your device in transit up to £100 through their Tracked 48 hour service which may take up to 5 working days depending on location. Royal Mail provides an optional service to collect your parcel for a nominal fee which can be selected when completing your postage label. We have detailed guidance on how best to package your device for safe transportation to us. Alternatively, you can choose to pay for your own postage with the appropriate insurance cover which is to be posted to: Gizmo2Go, 18 Apollo, Lichfield Road Industrial Estate, Tamworth B79 7TA.Please note: We are not responsible or liable for any loss or damage arising from inadequate packaging or issues in transit resulting to damage to the condition of your device.

     

  6. Payments
    All payments are to be made via Bank Transfer in GBP to the account details you provided when completing the sale request.

At this point, we will take ownership of the device.

We will make same-day payments for devices processed before 3pm when our terms are satisfied.

We do not accept liability for any third-party delays (banks) to complete the payment processing, or you providing inaccurate details.

  1. Returns
    Any returned devices will be sent back to the address provided when completing the sale request using Royal Mail Tracked 48hr. This is insured up to a value of £100.All returns are free of charge.If we cannot return your device to you after 2 failed attempts, any revised prices will be automatically settled, and we will take ownership of the device.
  2. Apple/Google Lock
    If your device is locked, we will contact you to assist us in removing the locks.If you do not respond within 5 days, we will recycle the device.
  3. Rejected Offers
    If you reject our revised offer, please allow 3-4 working days for us to return your device back to the address provided at checkout.If we cannot return your device after 2 failed attempts, any revised prices will be automatically settled, and we will take ownership of the device.
  4. Complaints
    Please contact us immediately should you have any complaint about Gizmo2Go by emailing customerservices@gizmo2go.com.
  5. Other

This contract is between you and us, you may not transfer your rights or obligations without prior written consent.

If one section of the contract is unenforceable the remainder of the contract remains in force.

We will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performance by events outside of our reasonable control or due to compliance with any applicable laws and governance.

We may change these terms at any time.
